In many ways, we've become a very selfish and self-indulgent society. Good manners often seem to be a thing of the past. We don't even do the small things anymore, like saying "thank you" when somebody holds a door open for you. How about thanking a waitress by tipping more than the standard 15% when you receive good service? Or pointing out to others when somebody has done something worthwhile. When you begin to look at what you can do for other people, instead of what they can do for you, the rewards are immeasureable.
